"We've had a strong rebound post-pandemic with business nearing 2019 levels," said Shawn Rodriquenz, the hotel's general manager. "We're seeing a significant uptick in corporate meetings demand and are thrilled to welcome local business leaders, guests and conference attendees to our newly renovated guest rooms and meeting spaces."
According to Rodriquenz, the hotel, which recently hosted participants of the US Open, is a sought-after destination for corporate, social, education, and sporting groups, as well as business and leisure travelers. Function facilities at the hotel comprise 18,751 square feet of flexible meeting space, including two ballrooms that can accommodate events for up to 300 and 150 people.
Group One Partners was the architect and interior designer for this project.
"Group One was honored to be selected for the Sheraton Needham project and we worked closely with ownership and the property to reimagine the public space and create a new inviting experience for guests as well as outside patrons. The renovations will help reaffirm the hotel's position in the market and is a great relaunch for the property coming out of the pandemic," said Harry Wheeler, AIA, Principal.
