StepStone Hospitality Leadership Team Adds Business Development Role to Drive Continued Expansion

New Chief Development Officer Brings Extensive Hotel Experience

StepStone Hospitality, a premier hospitality management company specializing in full and select-service hotel operations, announced that Jeffrey Dallas has been named Chief Development Officer. Dallas is charged with continuing to expand StepStone’s portfolio.

“This newly created position is devoted to focusing on our growth strategy, through both acquisitions and third party management contracts,” said Thomas Russo, Chief Executive Officer, StepStone Hospitality. “We’re delighted to have someone with Jeff Dallas’ skills and industry experience to fill this crucial role.” With a career spanning over 30 years in the real estate and hospitality industries, he has experience in single asset and portfolio transactions, joint ventures, management and franchise agreements, asset management, dispositions, and recapitalizations.

After going back to school for his MBA, he served as Director of Hotel Investments, overseeing investment and asset management strategy for a portfolio of properties for Prudential Realty Group. He became a Partner and practice leader for Real Estate and Hospitality Advisory Services with Ernst and Young. He was recruited as Senior Vice President Development for Dallas-based Remington Hotel Corporation before becoming Senior Vice President Business Development, North America for Wyndham Hotel Group, the world’s largest hotel company.

Dallas earned a B.S. from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Johnson School of Graduate Management.
