Area Director of Revenue Management
As an Area Director of Revenue for StepStone Hospitality, Matthew creates, implements and monitors the Revenue strategy as well as manage the inventory and rates on a daily basis for each hotel under his portfolio.
Matthew has been in the hospitality business since 1999 starting as a Front Desk Agent at a Fairfield Inn in Indianapolis, IN. He then joined his soon to be wife in Terre Haute, IN (while she finished college) and worked as the Asst. General Manager at another Fairfield Inn.
Following his wife to Baltimore, MD while she continued her education, Matthew continued to work in hospitality as a Front Office Manager for the Courtyard Inner Harbor and Hilton Garden Inn BWI. Once finished with school they decided to move back to the Midwest but not all the way home and landed in Cincinnati.
Since working at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza for the past 14 years Matthew has spent the majority of time as an Assistant Front Office Manager and Director of Revenue Management with a short stint in F&B. In August of 2018 Matthew was promoted to an Area Director of Revenue overseeing multiple properties.
